The Situation

A company's server room was climbing past safe operating temperatures after its dedicated cooling unit began failing late in the day. With critical hardware at risk and staff due back the next morning, the issue could not wait for normal business hours. The Approach

We responded the same evening and worked through the night to stabilise the room. The unit was diagnosed, repaired, and verified under load before morning. 

1. Initial Assessment 

The room and unit were inspected on arrival to gauge how fast temperatures were rising. 

2. Fault Located 

Diagnostic testing pinpointed the failed component cutting the unit's cooling capacity. 

3. Repair Completed 

The faulty part was replaced and the cooling circuit restored to full operation. 

4. Temperature Stabilised

The room was brought back down into its safe operating range and held there.

5. Performance Verified

The unit was monitored under load overnight to confirm stable, sustained cooling.

The Outcome

The server room was back within its safe temperature range well before staff returned. No hardware was lost, no downtime hit operations, and the unit held steady through the following day. The overnight response turned a potential data-loss emergency into a non-event.
